The King Family was joined by the Honorable Rositta E. Kenigsberg, President of the First South Florida Holocaust Museum, Documentation & Education Center, and Mr. Mel Dick, member-Board of Directors of the Museum. Chopard, manufacturer of fine jewelry & timepieces, also contributed by generously co-sponsoring the evening to raise funds and awareness for the new Holocaust Museum that will be opening in South Florida. The night’s festivities kicked off with a passionate speech by the Honorable Rositta E. Kenigsberg, and Maxine King, of King Jewelers. “We are so grateful to Maxine and Scott King and the entire King Jeweler’s Family for their tremendous efforts and incredible commitment to help build South Florida’s First Holocaust Museum. The contract price was $2.1 million dollars. The property features a 26,000 sq ft. facility, with 21 ft. high ceilings, all on one floor which is located in Broward County and is easily accessible for all tri?county public, private, parochial schools, as well as all the colleges and universities.
