It’s hard to deny the recent upswing in popularity of Rose Gold engagement rings and wedding bands among would-be-brides. The warm, copper undertones can give any wedding set a vintage, almost antiqued, appearance without making it look like an outdated piece from the 80s.
This year, so many designers have created gorgeous rose gold wedding bands and engagement rings that it’s hard to pick our favorites! Nevertheless, here’s a list of designers who we feel best utilize rose gold in their wedding bands and engagement rings!

No one does vintage style quite like Penny Preville, so it’s no surprise that they consistently create some of our favorite rose gold engagement rings. SIHH 2015 Premiere: Roger Dubuis Excalibur

First Look at the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Automatic Skeleton

We have long been fans of Roger Dubuis timepieces- the Pulsion Chronograph was among our favorite dive watches of summer 2014- and the brand is expected to reveal an exciting new addition to their Excalibur lineup at SIHH 2015 in Geneva.

The Basics

Case Size: 42mm
Case Material: 18K Rose Gold
Bezel: Fixed
Dial: Skeleton
Crystal: Scratch-Resistant Sapphire
Movement: Automatic RD820-SQ Calibre
Power Reserve: 60 hours
Strap: Brown Alligator Leather

The star motif is featured multiple times throughout the dial, but nowhere is it so predominate as in the bottom right corner. We think it’s a nice update to the traditional Roger Dubuis skeletal dials, and adds a touch of extra character to the watch as a whole. We’re also loving the contrast of the steel skeleton with the rose gold hands and case.

Perhaps our favorite part about this fabulous new timepiece though, is the fact that it’s a little bit more “back to basics” than some of Dubuis’ other statement pieces. Though it is a skeleton, it doesn’t have much else cluttering the dial: just two sleek rose gold hands to tell you the time. And really, what is the watchmaking industry all about, if not telling time in beautiful new ways?

Hot New Watch Alert!

HYT Limited Edition Skull Red Eye to be Officially Released in Geneva January 19-23

Prepare yourselves- this might be the coolest watch we’ve seen in recent years (and we’ve seen plenty!) HYT is due to reveal their new limited edition Skull watches on January 19th at SIHH 2015, but luckily they’ve shown them to us a little ahead of schedule!

HYT has taken their unique liquid timekeeping technology and given it a rebellious new facelift- remolding it into the shape of a human skull. Two versions of the Skull watch will be available- the first is made of DLC black titanium with green liquid and is called “Skull Green Eye.” The watch comes complete with a green tinted sapphire crystal caseback, which perfectly matches the signature bright green HYT liquid. This will be limited to 50 pieces worldwide.

The second Skull watch is made of 18K rose gold and DLC black titanium with HYT’s more newly developed red liquid and is called “Skull Red Eye.” The sapphire crystal caseback on this watch is tinted red, creating an interesting contrast to the rose gold that we just can’t get enough of. This beauty will be limited to just 25 pieces worldwide.
