King Jewelers Partners with Nashville Fashion Week to Host In-Store Ippolita Trunk Show Thursday April 7th

Spring is in the air which means it’s almost time for the annual Nashville Fashion Week! Nashville Fashion week is a city-wide celebration of our thriving fashion and retail community which highlights local, regional, and nationally known designers of exceptional talent. The event encourages locals and visitors to explore Nashville’s diverse fashion scene through the week with various parties, fashion shows, and in-store events with participating retail partners. This year’s Nashville Fashion Week takes place April 5th through April 9th.
King Jewelers is proud to have been a partner to Nashville Fashion Week since it’s inception, and this year we’ll be participating in the festivities with an in-store trunk show! Italian jewelry designer Ippolita will host a trunk show in our Nashville salon on Nashville Fashion Week’s “Shop Nashville Day”,  Thursday April 7th. During this event, guests can explore our expanded selection of Italy’s hottest gold and sterling silver jewelry designer. From stackable bangles to a wide variety of colored gemstone jewels, Ippolita offers something for everyone to enjoy!

KJ5 Round Classic Diamond Engagement Ring

This exciting new take on a classic style is sure to turn heads! This focal point of this platinum engagement ring is a 5.13ct GIA certified I/SI1 round center diamond. The ornate mounting is set with 208 additional, smaller round cut diamonds (1.46ctw) which are micro pavé set in three rows along the shank. Ovals are easily our best selling shape right now, and for good reason! Not only do they have almost as much brilliance as the classic round cut diamond, but they also provide a much larger surface area and make the wearer’s finger appear longer and slimmer. The halo style mounting has been in high demand for years, mostly because it can make a smaller center stone appear much larger- so imagine what it can do for a center stone that’s already fairly large! This ring features a 3.01ct GIA certified H/SI2 oval center diamond which looks absolutely huge in this classic halo mounting. With a total diamond weight of 4.08ct, this ring is the smallest of our three new creations, but it’s also the most popular style and the most affordable by far! Friday’s Watch Feature: Girard-Perregaux Traveller Chronograph

Today, we’re exploring another great watch brand we have in our Aventura salon, Girard-Perregaux. These masters of haute horology have been around since 1791 and have had plenty of time to master their craft! Today, we’ll focus on their Traveller Chronograph, the perfect choice for an often-traveling businessman. Girard-Perregaux describes it best by saying the Traveller collection is for “anyone for whom the passing hours are a journey to be savored at every instant.”
While the Girard-Perregaux Traveller Chronograph is available in a few different variations, our favorites are the 18K Rose Gold versions. There’s just something about a men’s rose gold timepiece that never fails to catch our attention! There are two rose gold editions of the Traveller Chronograph: rose gold with a silver dial on a brown strap (reference number: 49700-52-134-BB6B) and rose gold with a black dial on a black strap (reference number: 49700-52-632-BB6B).

The watch has a self-winding mechanical GP03300-0084 movement contained within a 44mm 18K rose gold case. The movement has a 46-hour power reserve, 63 Jewels, and a frequency of 28,800 VpH. Features include hour, minute, small second, chronograph function, angled date display window at the 1 o’clock position, and world times with day/night indicator. It is covered by scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and features a sapphire crystal case back, allowing you to look into the heart of the movement. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters (10 ATM). The alligator leather strap has an 18K rose gold deployment buckle.

Today we’d like to highlight one of the more aesthetically unique timepiece brands among our collection, Louis Moinet. One of the more popular models in their collection, the Louis Moinet Mecanograph, is available in multiple variations. Today, our luxury salon in Aventura, Florida is the proud home to three of these variations: titanium with a silver dial, titanium and rose gold with a black dial, and rose gold with a black dial.

1. Titanium Mecanograph with Partial Silver Guilloche Dial

This timepiece has an automatic Calibre LM31 movement contained within a 43.5mm grade 5 titanium case with the Louis Moinet signature six screw bezel. The left side of the dial is open so that you may see the movement in action, while the right side of the dial is decorated in beautiful silver guilloche. It is covered with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and features a sapphire crystal case back so that you may see the movement from a new perspective. March Birthstone: Beautiful Blue Aquamarine

New month, new birthstone to celebrate! It’s March 1st, which means it’s officially time to celebrate aquamarine!
If you were born in March, your birthstone is Aquamarine, a gorgeous light blue colored gemstone. Historically, aquamarine has been believed to protect sailors from harm and also make marriages happier. It is mined from the mountains of Pakistan at extremely high altitudes. Ranging in color from barely-there-blue to deep ocean blue, this gemstone is a beautiful addition to any woman’s jewelry collection, whether it’s her birthstone or not.
