Platinum Thin Dress Micro Studio Limited Edition

This Grand Seiko Thin Dress manual-winding depicts the signature “Snowflake” pattern. Created in homage to the snow-covered ground in Shinshu, this design bestows the watch with mesmerizing depth and texture. The hands run in a gliding motion as the second-hand sweeps across the snow-like dial. Crafted in a platinum case, the Grand Seiko SBGZ001 measures 38.5mm in diameter and only 9.8mm thick. Moreover, the artistry behind this model strives to bestow the wearer with a sense of beauty found in the purest form.

Hour indexes, as well as minute and hour hands, radiate mirror-like surfaces made up of 14K gold. This way, the watch maintains a sense of brilliance for years to come. The Grand Seiko logo, minute markers, and Spring Drive indicator are all carved into the dial. This movement, Caliber 9R02, uses two mainsprings set in parallel within a single barrel. The Shinshu watch studio came out with an 18K yellow gold manual-winding timepiece, SBGY002 featuring a high-polished 18K yellow gold case. The design of this watch radiates the classic Grand Seiko aesthetic. A mirror-like case and bezel contrast a textured, snow-like dial, inspired by the 20th anniversary of the famous Spring Drive. Sharp hour markers and hands create a familiar understated elegance. Similar to the previous model, this watch also runs off a dual mainspring structure actuated by the Spring Drive caliber 9R31. Additionally, this movement presents 72 hours of power reserve and an accuracy of +/- 1 second per day.

This gorgeous Grand Seiko Limited Edition stainless steel watch, SBGY003, showcases the beauty of nature discovered in Japan. To illustrate, we admire a radiant dial with rigid grooves that looks slightly different from every angle. As another product of the Shinshu watch studio, this timepiece functions on the 9R31 caliber that utilizes a barrel with two mainsprings. In addition, it demonstrates an accuracy of +/- 1 second per day and provides 72 hours of power reserve. This watch comes on a black crocodile leather strap and showcases the signature lion emblem on the case back.

Grand Seiko 20th Anniversary Sports Collection

In honor of Spring Drive’s 20th anniversary, Grand Seiko released three remarkable watches to their sports collection. These timepieces flaunt a new and improved design inspired by the power and strength of the Grand Seiko lion. In an effort to become the “king of watches,” this company has defied all odds by exposing the intensity of their determination. King Jewelers resonates with these values and are eager to break down these extraordinary new releases.

SBGA403

First, let’s take a look at the SBGA403 automatic timepiece, encompassing the immense strength and integrity of a lion. The high-intensity titanium case is curved inward to ensure a comfortable and secure fit on the wrist. Furthermore, the textured 44.5 mm dial showcases Zaratsu polishing and a gold hairline finish to bestow is with a sense of bravery. On a high-intensity titanium link bracelet, we admire the caliber 9R15, providing a 72-hour power reserve. We discover a date window at three o’clock and a power reserve indicator between seven and eight o’clock.

Spring Drive Chronograph GMT’s (SBGC230, SBGC231)

As if Grand Seiko hasn’t pushed the envelope far enough, they also released two Spring Drive Chronograph GMT movements called the 9R96. One of these chronographs are encompassed by an 18K rose gold case on a red Crocodile Leather strap. To illustrate, the other radiates premium durability with a brushed, high-intensity titanium case and link bracelet. The dial on the rose gold model features a corresponding deep red Zaratsu-finished dial. The titanium one depicts gold details, much like the SBGA403 we previously discussed. Both of these chronographs showcase the seconds sub dial at nine o’clock, minutes at two o’clock, and hours at four o’clock. Additionally, a date window rests at three o’clock, as well as a 72-hour power reserve indicator at seven. The Chronograph GMT’s remind us that Grand Seiko never ceases to amaze and should never be underestimated.
