King Jewelers served as the Exclusive Jeweler and a Silver Sponsor of the 2009 Iroquois Steeplechase held recently at Nashville’s Percy Warner Park, one of Music City’s most popular events for horse racing enthusiasts. For 68 years, the Iroquois Steeplechase has captivated thousands of spectators from near and far with its traditions, pageantry and the energy of the sport. The Iroquois Steeplechase benefits the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and has designated the hospital as a beneficiary since 1981, raising more than $8 million dollars. The affiliation with the hospital has helped the event to grow with additional volunteers, improve the course, the facilities and the purses.
