Louis Moinet Partners with Wealth Solutions to Create Limited Edition Whisky Watch- First Unveiled at 2017 Singapore Yacht Show

Whisky fanatics rejoice! Louis Moinet has once again created a stunning watch that redefines everything we think we know about haute horology. After the success of the previous Rum Watch and Cognac Watch from the Spirit Watches Line, Wealth Solutions turned to Louis Moinet to create the limited edition Whisky Watch, a timepiece containing a drop of the oldest whisky in the world.

Louis Moinet, inventor of the chronograph, outfitted the Whisky Watch with the LM45 automatic movement. The frequency of the balance is 28,800 vph (4Hz) and the movement contains 22 jewels. The watch is a limited edition with just 50 pieces being produced.

Ten watches will be available with an 18K rose gold case and 40 watches will be available with a stainless steel case. The Whisky Watch features a three level dial with applied open-work hour-markers and an exclusive whisky capsule at the 3 o’clock position.

The unique whisky capsule contains a drop of the oldest whisky in the world, Old Vatted Glenlivit 1862. Sukhinder Singh, a noted collector of rare alcohol, donated one bottle of Old Vatted Glenlivit 1862 specifically for this purpose, and the bottle was opened in a ceremony in Poland last month.
