This year, Baselworld announced the relaunch of the highly-coveted Chanel J12, in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Featured in white or black ceramic, this women’s dive watch showcases unsurpassed elegance and premium functionality. In addition, this Chanel J12 model introduces a brand new Swiss-movement from Kenissi, called caliber 12.1 that is visible through the case back.

Although this watch looks the same as its predecessors, we are eager to discuss some minor improvements. We admire the same high-polished white and black ceramic with corresponding lacquered dials and contrasting Arabic numerals. Ceramic white or black interchangeable link bracelets lead us to the 38mm case. Since the J12 serves as Chanel’s version of a sport’s watch, it features a water resistance of up to 200 meters. Furthermore, the indexes are slightly restructured and the dial is a bit wider. A COSC-Certified movement takes this watch to the next level, leaving us intrigued by a seamless integration of fashion and horological innovation.
