Pantone Color of the Year for 2011

Pantone recently released their color pick for the year 2011, a compelling redish-pink color named “Honeysuckle.” Pantone has been issuing a color of the year unofficially since 2000, and officially since 2007. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, elaborates “In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues.”
