SIHH 2013 Preview: Roger Dubuis Excalibur 42 Squelette Watch

Yet another exciting watch that Roger Dubuis will be debuting for 2013 SIHH is the Excalibur 42 Tourbillon Squelette. Not much information has been released about this particular watch, but here is the details we do know. The Excalibur 42 new Excalibur 42 Squelette, the latest edition to the Excalibur 42 family, features a tourbillon and a skeleton dial. This look deviates slightly from the more familiar original Excalibur with double flying tourbillon, but none of the less the Excalibur 42 Squelette Watch is still one exquisite timepiece.

The new Excalibur 42 Squelette will come in a 42mm 18k rose gold bezel with the iconic fluted design. More rose gold can be found on the hour and minute hands as well as the 10 screws on the bezel that also double as the hour markers. The tourbillon movement is fitted in the 7 o’clock position. Through the sapphire crystal and the skeletonized dial you can see this watch is powered by the in-house RD505SQ movement. The Excalibur 42 Squelette is paired very nicely with a black alligator strap and matching rose gold buckle.
