New month, new birthstone to celebrate! It’s March 1st, which means it’s officially time to celebrate aquamarine!
If you were born in March, your birthstone is Aquamarine, a gorgeous light blue colored gemstone. Historically, aquamarine has been believed to protect sailors from harm and also make marriages happier. It is mined from the mountains of Pakistan at extremely high altitudes. Ranging in color from barely-there-blue to deep ocean blue, this gemstone is a beautiful addition to any woman’s jewelry collection, whether it’s her birthstone or not.

Leslie Greene Pear Shaped Aquamarine & Diamond Necklace

Interestingly enough, our two favorite aquamarine jewelry pieces are fashioned in the same style and could easily be purchased as a set! This beautiful necklace is made of 18K white gold and features a pear shaped aquamarine flanked by a pear shaped halo of round cut diamonds.
