King Jewelers Presents GnashVegas Casino Night and Auction Masquerade

Once again King Jewelers, the official jewelers of the Nashville Predators, sponsored the eighth annual Gnashvegas Casino Night and Auction event. The purpose of this event was to raise money to benefit the Nashville Predators Foundation. Fans, supporters, and sponsors played casino games and got to know their favorite players, coaches, and broadcasters on a more personal level. In addition, a silent auction took place featuring unique gift packages and unforgettable experiences.

Bites and Booze

Local restaurants attended to provide a taste of some of the most delicious food in Nashville, including Olivia Olive Oil, The Row, Saltine, and more! Guests also enjoyed an open bar serving delectable cocktails, cold beer, and smooth wine. The theme this year was Masquerade, therefore we saw extravagant masks, festive boas, and stunning dresses. As a great excuse to get all dressed up, the event was certainly a smash(ville).

King Jewelers’ Auction Item

King Jewelers donated a Victorinox Swiss Army Maverick 43mm steel two-toned blue dial diving watch to the silent auction. This timepiece showcases a date window at six o’clock as well as military time indexes. The unidirectional rotating bezel matches the deep blue dial and yellow gold plated details. This analog quartz watch also reveals a triple-layer anti-reflective sapphire crystal, making it incredibly durable.

King Jewelers Supports the Predators Foundation

All of the proceeds from this event will benefit hundreds of non-profit organizations in the Middle Tennessee community. Some of the supported charities include End Slavery Tennessee, Plant the Seed, Urban Green Lab, and more! King Jewelers takes pride in being the official jewelers of the Nashville Predators and hosting an event with such a reputable cause.

King Jewelers, official jeweler of the Nashville Predators hockey team, once again sponsored the GnashVegas Casino Night event which benefits the Nashville Predators Foundation. During this unique annual event, fans are able to get up close and personal with players, coaches, and Predators staff through various casino games and a silent auction.

The theme of this year’s event was “Boots & Bling” which lent an air of casual comfort that was missing in prior years more formal attire. The upscale western theme was consistent throughout the event, with country line dancing and bull riding available as additional entertainment. King Jewelers partnered with Montblanc to display the Swiss luxury brand’s most popular watches, cufflinks, and pens at the event. A Montblanc watch was also donated in the silent auction.

Nashville Predators GnashVegas Casino Night

King Jewelers was thrilled to learn that this was the most successful GnashVegas event in franchise history, with over $200,000 raised that evening for the Nashville Predators Foundation. The Nashville Predators Foundation partners with charities in the local community to improve the lives of children and their families in the Nashville area. 2016 GnashVegas Casino Night and Charity Auction Brings Big Money for Nashville Predators Foundation

The numbers are in and we’re simply blown away by Nashville’s generosity! King Jewelers hosted the annual GnashVegas Casino Night and Auction at the Bridgestone arena with the NHL Nashville Predators team on February 16th. This event, which lets attendants mingle with players and coaches while also bidding on auction items, benefits the Nashville Predators Foundation. This year, we’re excited to announce that $140,000.00 was raised for the foundation.

We’re so thrilled to have been part of this amazing evening, and are happy to have helped raise money for the Nashville Predators Foundation, which uses proceeds to assist multiple organizations across Middle Tennessee. Hublot Brings Their A-Game in 2016

It’s that time of year again! As the official jeweler of the Nashville Predators hockey team, King Jewelers hosts the annual Gnashvegas Casino Night and Charity Auction at Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville. This year’s event, which kicks off tomorrow, February 16th, at 6:00pm, will feature luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot. In honor of Hublot’s participation, we’re highlighting just a few of the brand’s most exciting new releases for 2016!
Hublot, a luxury Swiss watch brand which has continuously pushed the envelope on innovation and design, has not disappointed with their latest timepieces! We only have room to highlight a few of their boldest creations here, but rest assured, the entire 2016 lineup is killer.

Bold Doesn’t Always Mean Hard to Wear!

Our favorite bold choice by Hublot is the Big Bang Unico Sapphire. This unique timepiece took a full four years to develop and it’s not hard to see why. The Unico Sapphire is completely transparent!

330 hand-assembled components come together to create this exceptional watch. The large, 45mm case is made with polished sapphire crystal, as is the bezel. The dial, which is fitted with white luminescent hands for easier viewing, is made of polished transparent composite. Even the straps on this watch are see-through! Unlike some of Hublot’s other bold designs, the Big Bang Unico Sapphire is easily paired with any outfit. This isn’t the only transparent timepiece to be recently added to Hublot’s already impressive timepiece collection, however. The MP-05 LaFerrari is also now available with a transparent sapphire crystal case- and speaking of LaFerrari….

Sometimes, Bolder Means Bigger

Hublot’s longstanding partnership with Italian auto genius Ferrari has yielded some fairly beautiful collaborations. None, however, are quite as impressive as the MP-05 LaFerrari, which we were lucky enough to feature in our Nashville salon during our 2015 Watch Fair last November. Now available in clear sapphire crystal, titanium, and microblasted black PVD titanium, these imposing timepieces clearly take inspiration from the impressive internal workings of Ferrari sports cars. King Jewelers Takes On GnashVegas

Leaving GnashVegas!

On Sunday, February 15th, fans of the Nashville Predators hockey team, the number one seat in the NHL, were able to drink, dine, gamble, and mingle with players, all in the name of charity.
It may have been cold outside, but inside over the Bridgestone Arena ice everyone was looking white hot! The winter weather warning threatened to put a damper on the night’s festivities, but the evening went off without a hitch, and everyone was home safely before Nashville’s “Ice Apocalypse” really kicked in.

The 5th annual GnashVegas Casino Night and Auction was a huge success, just as it’s been in years past, raising thousands of dollars for hundreds of non-profit organizations in Nashville. Attendees at this year’s event were able to brows our extensive collection of IWC timepieces in between conversations with their favorite hockey players.

King Jewelers decided to show a little love to the less appreciated members of the franchise- wives and girlfriends of Predator’s players and staff members were loaned diamond jewelry of their choosing to wear during the big night.

We also contributed to the wide variety of charity auction items- which included a set of signed hockey jerseys among other rarities. A $2,500 Stainless Steel Alpina GMT, perfect for the traveling sportsman, was donated to the auction with all sale proceeds going to non-profits.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with the Nashville Predators throughout this winning season and onward in the future, and we’re proud to contribute to worthy causes such as this one.
