King Jewelers Supports 2019 CigArt Fundraiser

King Jewelers recently had the incredible opportunity to show our support to the local contemporary artists in Nashville through OZ Art’s 2019 CigArt fundraising event! OZ Arts is known, most-c0mmonly, for their impressive showcase of the contemporary performing arts. However, the CigArt event was was inspired by the long history of the Ozenger family cigar brand, known as CAO. The couple realized the thrill behind life’s more affordable luxuries blended with a carefree atmosphere where people can experience art in a new and refreshing way. That’s how CigArt got its name!

The evening consisted of a series of vendors who came out to showcase their luxury goods. Everything from catered dinner from Martin’s BBQ, top-shelf liquor, finely aged wine, extravagant cars, high-end cigars and of course, luxury timepieces. King Jewelers chose to partner up with IWC for this event because these timepieces are an ideal representation of “the finer things.” To take our participation a step further, we even donated a watch to the event’s silent auction to help raise money for the local artists in Nashville.

Ticket proceeds for the event support the Symphony’s artistic, educational, and community programs, and a portion of the night’s Mikimoto sales were also donated to the Symphony. Those who were unable to attend the sold-out event were able to shop the impressive Mikimoto collection at a trunk show in our Green Hills area salon the following day.

King Jewelers Hosts Nashville Holiday Toy Drive

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital Toy Drive

King Family Asks for Support for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt This Month with First Annual Holiday Toy Drive

For over 100 years, our clients have welcomed us into the most important moments of their lives, and we’ve cherished every wedding, birth, graduation, and anniversary we’ve witnessed along the way. Our family is honored to be able to give back to the communities which have supported us for five generations. Every year, the King family takes pride in supporting cancer research, underprivileged children, and animal shelters in both Nashville and Miami. We truly believe that it is better to give than to receive, and whenever we can, we funnel our success back into the community.
It’s important to give all year round, but during the holidays we take a particular interest in helping underprivileged children. The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has had a special place in our hearts since David first moved to Nashville and founded a dedicated group which unites emerging leaders of Nashville and partners them with the Hospital to radically impact the health and well-being of children in the Central South.
The Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, which was once again named one of the Best Children’s Hospitals in the Nation by U.S. News, strives to provide quality healthcare and a welcoming environment for both the patients and their families.
The holidays are stressful enough without the added anxiety of having your child in the hospital. We’d like to ease the burden for families with children at Monroe Carell Jr. by hosting our first annual Holiday Toy Drive at King Jewelers in Green Hills.
