Every year we watch the Academy Awards with bated breath- mostly to see if Leonardo DiCaprio will finally take home an Oscar. We also tune-in to gawk at the gorgeous and glamorous fashion choices on Hollywood’s biggest night. This year, one jewelry trend stood out from the rest: large statement bracelets adorned the wrists of both men and women on the red carpet.

While she may not have taken home the Oscar (Brie Larson won for her gritty role in Room) Cate Blanchett’s impeccable style did land her a spot on many Best Dressed lists for the night.
Lana Del ReyThis “Young and Beautiful” musician sparkled in an awe inspiring Bulgari bracelet at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s Oscar Viewing Party. Her metallic pale pink pleated Vivienne Westwood Couture gown enhanced the beauty of the Art Deco styled diamond bracelet.
Julianne MooreJulianne Moore had a job most women would have killed for on Oscar Sunday- she presented Leonardo DiCaprio with his first ever Oscar win (Best Actor for The Revenant). Still, it was her jewelry, not her presenting gig, that we were most envious of. The Still Alice star arrived at the 88th Academy Awards in gorgeous statement pieces by Chopard. Between her huge diamond disc earrings and her absolutely massive diamond bracelet, it’s hard to say which piece impressed us the most!
Daisy RidleyOne of the new faces of the massive Star Wars franchise, Daisy Ridley, traded her light saber for gorgeous Chanel jewels! The actress was a vision in a silver gown from Chanel’s Haute Couture collection paired with a Chanel clutch and jewelry. What really caught our attention was her gorgeous diamond bracelet! This is one red carpet look that will certainly stand the test of time.
