Breguet Marine Tourbillon Equation Marchante 5887

Breguet released the Marine Tourbillon Equation Marchante 5887 with the intention of having a wristwatch movement that utilizes the equation of time, perpetual calendar, and tourbillon. Having these three highly-coveted complications within one timepiece makes this watch the total package among luxury horology. In a 43.9mm 18K rose gold case, we discover a slate-colored dial with a hand-engraved guilloche pattern. This timepiece is also available with a blue dial with a platinum case, reference 5887PTY29WV, and another rose gold model with silver dial, reference 5887BR129WV. The center of the dial reveals a wavy motif, resembling the ocean. This self-winding tourbillon movement has peripheral oscillating weight and a power reserve of 80 hours. The perpetual calendar feature displays linear reading and there is a solar minutes hand that can be identified as a golden sun. This watch is on a brown alligator strap and is also available in a titanium case with a blue alligator strap.

The next watch that we would like to introduce is the Breguet Classique 7137, which measures 39mm in diameter and showcases a different texture for each complication indicator. This self-winding extra-thin movement reveals a date sub-dial at six o’clock, as well as a power-reserve indicator at hour marker ten. In addition, the different phases and age of the moon can be seen at two o’clock, making this timepiece the trifecta of wristwatch complications. The balance spring is made up of silicon and the movement can be admired through the exhibition case back.

Lastly, Breguet released another timepiece in the Classique collection that has made quite the impact on modernized timekeeping. The Breguet Classique 7337 wristwatch is available in  an 18K white gold and 18K rose gold case, measuring 39mm in diameter. This mechanical automatic movement displays a day and date window at two o’clock and ten o’clock, as well as the age and phase of the moon at twelve. We discover a small seconds indicator on the silvered dial and an off-centered chapter ring. The case back is made up of sapphire, revealing the calibre 502.3 QSE1 movement.
