Roberto Coin stole the show by winning 1st place in the platinum “Trends” category with a piece entitled “Animalier.” The piece is a stunning platinum sea-turtle brooch set with round-cut white diamonds and features a large white baroque South Sea pearl on the top of the turtle’s shell.

Roberto Coin’s creativity was more recently celebrated at the Couture Design Awards held in Los Angeles. The luxury jewelry brand was announced as the first runner-up for the Gold category to a crowd of nearly 800 retailers and designers at The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. This year there were 140 jewelry submissions, which is the largest number of submissions in the history of the Couture Design Awards.

Roberto Coin has started incorporating more vintage influences in their jewelry design this year, including gold filigree featuring a bubble motif and art deco animal inspired designs.
