Based out of Music City, Rock Royalty is a luxury design house dedicated to manufacturing the finest and most exclusive custom guitars and accessories. Starting November 2011, the Country Music Hall of Fame® will be exhibiting a custom Rock Royalty 1/1 guitar in the museum’s gift shop. In addition, Country Music Hall of Fame® gift shop will be an authorized retailer of Rock Royalty’s clothing line and offer all t-shirts and accessories for sale. On exhibition this month is Rock Royalty’s customized one-of-a-kind Fender Custom Shop Telecaster pro relic guitar in 3-color sunburst with fender’s custom “Relic” treatment to show years of natural wear and tear—nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts. The custom jeweled guitar contains 28.98cts gem-quality cognac diamonds set in sterling silver and finished with black ruthenium, retail $75,000.

The original Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum opened on Music Row (Sixteenth Avenue and Division Street) on April 1, 1967, and closed December 31, 2000. During these years of rapid growth and expansion the Museum’s operations came to also include educational programs, CMF Press and CMF Records, the Country Music Foundation Library (1968), and the historic sites RCA Studio B (1977) and Hatch Show Print (1986).
The new Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum celebrated its grand opening on May 17, 2001. The new facility features the Hall of Fame Rotunda, where the bronze plaques are displayed for future generations to honor and enjoy.
