What Has Manny Been Up to During Quarantine?

We went ahead and asked a series of questions to our elite jewelry and watch experts to learn a little bit about what they have been up to this quarantine! In this blog, we will be introducing one of our sales specialists, Manny Ortega.

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in isolation?

“I say a little prayer. Then I FaceTime my daughter and grandson.”

What are three things you are thankful for right now?

“I am thankful for getting paid every week. I truly appreciate what the King family is doing for their employees. I am thankful to be getting free and healthy meals delivered for those of us who are over 65 – I might not look it but I am. Lastly, I am thankful for my good health and not having COVID-19.“

What are some of your lock down hobbies?

“Since I don’t have to worry about cooking my main course, I make desserts. There goes my sweet tooth again! I try to get some sun and fresh air on my balcony where I can call my clients to see if there’s anything I can do for them. I want to help make any celebrations they have extra special since we can’t celebrate as we normally would.”

What's your favorite quarantine snack?

“Rum cake with one scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.”

What shows have you been watching this quarantine?

“Since I am a frustrated singer I like watching The Voice and the news to keep me up to date.”

What's the first thing you're going to do once this is all over?

“Visit each and every one of my close family and hug them and kiss them over and over again. And of course, go back to work and be the best human being I can be. “

What is your favorite watch or jewelry piece and why?

“My favorite timepiece brand is no doubt Breguet. It’s elegant and one of the best brands ever. I especially love the new Marine Chrono in rose gold. I think it compliments my outgoing personality.”
