Tudor Black Bay P01

With Baselworld upon us, King Jewelers looks forward to recapping some of the most iconic watch releases of 2019. Today, we introduce the Tudor Black Bay P01 designed in honor of a prototype military diver that was released in the 1960s. We admire a 12-hour bezel, as well as a unique case shape, featuring a crown placed at four o’clock. Measuring 42mm wide, this steel timepiece rests on a proprietary brown rubber and leather strap. However, what really sets the new Black Bay P01 apart from its competitors has to be the bidirectional bezel-lock function. To illustrate, a claw-like mechanism fits into each distinctive lug, bestowing it with a bulky, industrial look. The Black Bay P01 also depicts a sleek black dial with white indexes, showcasing a small date window at three o’clock. Furthermore, the Tudor logo at twelve o’clock sits right beneath the signature arrow indicator. Additionally, this automatic timepiece runs off of the Tudor Manufacture MT5612 caliber with 70 hours power reserve to show for it. Standing out from the Black Bay watches that came before, this edition definitely sparkes interest among watch-enthusiasts everywhere.

This practice, which is almost unheard of, ensures every single watch meets the brand’s highest quality standards. If for some reason the watch fails, TUDOR offers a 2 year international warranty.
Many TUDOR watches come with a free additional fabric strap (perfect for swimming or diving) but don’t make the mistake of thinking that’s just a simple gift with purchase. The straps are made by the same company that produces the robes for the Vatican; if that’s not a quality endorsement, we’re not sure what is.
