IWC Schaffhausen has released this limited edition Aquatimer Chronograph watch, IW379507, in partnership with the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation. Moreover, IWC has been a proud sponsor of this charitable organization for nearly 15 years. Utilizing sport to put an end to violence, discrimination, and disadvantage, Schaffhausen continues to launch new luxury limited edition timepiece each year in honor of this cause.

Furthermore, the IWC “Laureus Sport For Good” watch release showcases the iconic blue dial and winning picture engraving on the case back. To explain, this engraving depicts a picture drawn by a different child each year through a drawing competition hosted by IWC. Finished with a luminescent coating, Schaffhausen, therefore, designed the black hour and minute hands to provide easy readability in all conditions.
With a water resistance of 300 meters, this diving watch is actuated by IWC-manufactured caliber 89365. Revealing an impressive flyback function, this movement also presents a 68-hour power reserve. At 12 o’clock, we admire the stopped-minutes indicator and opposite of that a stopped seconds subdial at six o’clock. In addition, the internal/external rotating bezel helps to ensure that you are keeping safe and precise dive times. Not to mention, the case of this Aquatimer Chronograph, crafted from rubber-coated stainless steel, leads us to a blue rubber 22mm strap.

Since its introduction back in 2002, the Grande Seconde wristwatch has become an iconic piece of the Jaquet Droz lineup. To celebrate their 280th anniversary, Jaquet Droz has released the Grande Second Tribute, limited to just 88 pieces and presented in an exclusive box. This marks the first time the brand offers a wristwatch version of this iconic timepiece in yellow gold.

The Grande Seconde Pocket Watch — The 1784 Grande Seconde pocket watch

The first Grande Seconde was created in pocket watch form by the founder of the brand, Pierre Jaquet-Droz in 1784. This year’s Grande Seconde Tribute clearly draws inspiration from that first pocket watch version, with a yellow gold case and timeless white dial with black Arabic and Roman numerals.

The starts represent the Jaquet-Droz father and son, and are unique to the Grande Seconde Tribute.

In early May, Hublot signed an agreement to become the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch for the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup. This marks the first time in the history of the FIFA World Cup that a watch brand has become an Official Timekeeper. To commemorate this historic agreement, Hublot has launched the official licensed watch of the FIFA World Cup: a timepiece reflecting the gold of the coveted FIFA World Cup Trophy. King Jewelers Nashville previews Hublot's King Power Alinghi for our new corner shop

Hublot’s CEO Jean-Claude Biver unveiled the chronograph sporting the colours of the Swiss Defender of the 33rd America’s Cup at the Hublot MiniBasel based in Miami Beach this past weekend in which David King of King Jewelers was in attendance to marvel at the new masterpiece of haute horology.
Swiss Made expertise was the toast of the hour this weekend at the exclusive Fountainbleu Resort where limited edition Hublot “King Power Alinghi” watch made its debut. The pride of the participants was swelled by immense motivation felt on all sides to defend the Swiss colours together in a few weeks’ time, when Alinghi and Oracle do battle on the water.
The King Power Alinghi echoes the expertise and precision of the Defender yacht built for the America’s Cup. New developments, cutting edge technology and
materials, a focus on the excellence of resources and sharing the highest level of skills are qualities which link the two companies.
Jean-Claude Biver hopes that the King Power will bring the catamaran luck in this extraordinary challenge: “Alinghi already has an enormous range of skills and qualities, as well as the motivation to win, and we wish to demonstrate to them how proud we are to be their partner and to show them our support through this chronograph in the yacht’s colours!”.
